We are recruiting for a Senior Accountant to join our team at The Base Stranolar in Co.Donegal. If you are working in practice but are considering a change, this could be the perfect role for you. Responsibilities

  • Preparing and reviewing financial accounts and tax computations for sole traders, companies, and partnerships.
  • Management of a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with Irish Accounting standards and regulations. 
  • Assisting with financial statement preparation in accordance with FRS 102 and IFRS.
  • Proving support and advice on financial matters, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. 
  • Conducting tax planning and compliance work for individuals and corporate clients.
  • Liaising with Revenue Commissioners and other regulatory bodies on behalf of clients.
  • Participating in business development activities to attract and retain clients.

Key Requirements

  • Qualified Accountant ( ACCA/ACA) with 2/3 years PQE and experience working in a public practice environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and technical knowledge.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • A willingness to learn and develop professionally.
  • Experience with accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of Irish Tax Laws and Accounting Standarads.
