At Nexiō, we are acutely aware of the critical role businesses play in addressing the global climate crisis. Our commitment to environmental stewardship is unwavering, and we actively pursue initiatives to diminish our carbon footprint. A prime example of our environmental dedication was the decision to repurpose an existing structure for our headquarters, significantly reducing the demand for new raw materials and the associated environmental impact. 

Our headquarters is about to start the process of transformation, one that has been meticulously planned to prioritise energy efficiency, earning us grant approval from SEAI. The renovation will encompass a holistic approach, incorporating a modern heating system, air filtration, superior insulation, and updated windows and doors. These enhancements will not only elevate the building’s energy performance but also substantially cut down our carbon emissions. The result? A state-of-the-art workspace that will not only inspire innovation and creativity but also stand as a testament to our environmental responsibility.

Outside of the physical office, Nexiō is committed to minimising business travel emissions. We’ve embraced electric vehicles — all the company’s directors now have electric vehicles — and partnered with initiatives like Evertreen, planting trees monthly to combat biodiversity loss. While we are still at the beginning of our journey towards a sustainable future, we are proud of the strides taken so far.
